Some of my colleagues are using the LiveScribe.com pen. I became envious, especially since it is an audio recorder, and when they touch a given section of their notes, it replays what was being said when they wrote that section. However, I am geek that takes his notebook to meetings because I can type better than I can write by hand. I looked around and found that several tools were available (for my MacBook) that would allow me to record audio while I am taking notes, including Word. I already had Word and used it regularly, but not in its “notebook” mode. And yes, you can click a section of words and it will replay the recorded audio that was going on when it was typed.
